He's done! I feel like I painted him too quickly but maybe I am just getting better at not messing up as much.
This guy is about seven inches tall and I love him.

love the paint finish, what acrylics do you use? they look high gloss? or is that sealant? also do you use a thinner glaze and build up the layers of colour to get this look?

I mostly use Folk Art acrylics because they're easy to find anywhere. I go over the sculpture in thin paint layers and often have more than just one color on the brush. I guess it does kind of built up to get the right tones.
Once I am happy with it, I coat it with a satin gloss that gives it a light shine and helps seal the paint in.

oh lovely thanks, I've got some folk art metallic paint and they do have such a lovely creamy texture - not too thick, makes me want to splurge and go buy new paints

I love the dark color pallet on the body, and the bright colors in the mouth. It really draws your attention to the eye.
I also like the concept, and the design. Very cool.
